VHB tape LSE series from 3M™ delivers durable results where other solutions need additional support
3M's VHB tape LSE series addresses the challenges with bonding low surface energy (LSE) plastics and composites. VHB tape delivers durable results where other solutions need additional support, such as priming. These tapes bond composites and LSE plastics without a priming step, which increases productivity and reduces harmful chemicals in user facilities. Excellent durability and wide temperature resistance ensure ultimate performance strength and reliability for indoor and outdoor applications.
3M VHB tape provides a flexible bond that allows for thermal expansion up to three times its thickness, making it ideal for joining dissimilar materials. It shows excellent dynamic stress performance that can exceed certain structural bonds. By taking advantage of its ability to adhere to difficult-to-bond substrates, customers can use lighter and thinner materials for groundbreaking innovations in form and function, supporting durability, aesthetics, and weight reduction.
