Webinar – eFuse: Automotive Circuit Protection

Traditional mechanical fuses use an element that physically burns out to protect current sensitive devices and requires replacement to restore power. Circuit breakers are resettable which remedies the replacement issue but are typically large and electrically noisy. Both devices do not keep pace with the demand for smaller, high power, and smarter devices. Enter the e-fuse, a solid state solution that provides the high performance needed for advanced circuit protection.

Helping to usher in e-fuse technology is Bob Card, Marketing Manager for onsemi’s Analog Mixed Signal Group (AMG).
