How to Share Your New (and Previous) Custom PCB Orders

If you have a current PCB Builder or DKRed project or have ever ordered a printed circuit board (PCB) from DigiKey before using either PCB Builder or DKRed and you want to share the details with anyone, there are two ways to accomplish this depending on your situation:

1. To share your new PCB Builder or DKRed PCB project and settings (to a purchaser or whoever)
2. To share previously ordered PCB Builder or DKRed orders

To share your new PCB Builder or DKRed PCB project

1. Sign in to your myDigiKey Account
2. Upload your Gerber files (or .kicad_pcb file) at https://www.digikey.com/en/pcb-builder/ or https://www.digikey.com/en/resources/dkred
3. Assign the settings you need for your PCB (or select DKRed)
4. When you see the red ‘Add to Cart’ button, use the ‘Share’ button below that.

Note: Those you share it with need to first be logged into myDigiKey.

To share previously ordered PCB Builder or DKRed orders

1. Sign in to your my DigiKey Account

2. Click myDigiKey in the profile menu drop down

3. To search, click on ‘View All Orders’…

4. To see all of your custom PCB orders, enter ‘PCB_BARE_BOARD’ in the search…

5. If you know the name of the Gerber zip file you used, type all or a unique part of that text in the search (must be at least 3 characters)…

6. Hit REORDER

7. Copy the URL

8. Anyone you share this with will have the ability to order this PCB.

Note: Those you share it with need to first be logged into myDigiKey.

Sharing the details of a previously ordered PCB or your current PCB design project in either DigiKey’s PCB Builder or DKRed is fairly straight forward. Just follow the steps outlined above for your circumstances.
