Panduit TX6A Field Termination Plug | DigiKey Daily

Panduit offers their TX6A, which is a simple-to-attach plug for field termination of 4-pair unshielded-twisted-pair cable providing Category 6a performance. The two-piece straight and up-down angled plug terminates 4-pair, 22 gauge to 26 gauge, 100 ohm unshielded-twisted-pair cable. Other features include a slim plug profile that easily fits into tight spaces and ports, and it can re-terminate up to 20 times with no additional parts. The TX6A is ideal for connecting the increasing number of network-powered devices requiring a plug connection to the network and where field attachment of the plug to unshielded-twisted-pair cable is desired. Applications include wireless access points, power over Ethernet LED lighting, IP security cameras and motions sensors, building access control points, and more.
