Laird Thermal Systems Thermoelectric Assemblies | DigiKey Daily
Laird Thermal Systems' SuperCool series Thermoelectric Assemblies, or TEAs, are designed for precise temperature control of small chambers used in medical diagnostics or sample storage compartments in analytical instrumentation, which require fast cool-down ramp rates. These SuperCool TEAs deliver a breakthrough in thermoelectric assembly technology by increasing the cooling performance up to 70 percent in the same form factor versus conventional TEAs. These compact TEA units operate on 24-volts DC and are available in air-to-air, direct-to-air, and liquid-to-air versions. Other features include a reliable solid-state operation, uniform heat spreading, and cooling capacities from 166 Watts to 202 Watts. Ideal applications include laser or imaging cooling, analytical storage compartment temperature control, medical diagnostic chamber refrigeration, PCR-based testing, and more.
