This series of varistors offers bidirectional ESD overvoltage protection as well as EMI & RFI attenuation in a single SMT package. This allows designers to combine circuit protection and EMI & RFI attenuation function into a single, highly-reliable device. When compared to standard varistors, these low-clamp products demonstrate a lower breakdown and clamping to working-voltage ratio. They also provide improved protection for components with a higher sensitivity to overvoltage. Other features include an operating temperature range from minus 55 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius, a working voltage of 16 volts-DC, and availability in case sizes ranging from 0603 to 1210. Applications include infotainment systems, ECUs, displays, microcontrollers, and more.
