ZF Electronics' MP2 series sensors are part of its line of magnetic proximity sensors. The MP2 series are reed proximity sensors with normally open or closed contacts that change state when a magnetic field is applied. The sensors act as non-latching electrical switches. Typical applications for this product include door position and interlock, limit switch duties, flow or speed monitoring, and several other applications within the automation and industrial markets.
