IMM05 Series 5 W Medical DC/DC Converters

XP Power’s SIP-9 packaged IMM05 series 5 W medical DC/DC converters occupy 65% less PCB area than competing products and have an excellent power density of 28 W/in³. Their very low 2 µA leakage current makes them ideal for medical BF and CF applications.

Approved for worldwide 60601-1 medical applications, the IMM05 features a 2:1 input range, 1,500 V_AC isolation, and 1xMOPP at 250 V_RMS. These converters operate over a temperature range of -20°C to +100°C with a full load capability to +60°C.

The IMM05 draws a low standby current of just 2.5 mA when inhibited with standard control and protection features including remote ON/OFF, output short circuit, and overload protection. These small size converters are only 26 mm x 9.3 mm x 12.5 mm for the SIP-9 packaged IMM05. They take up minimal PCB space affording the product designer with more room to add extra features or reduce the overall size of the end product.

A wide range of models are available with three input voltage ranges covering 4.5 V to 9.0 V, 9.0 V to 18.0 V, and 18.0 V to 36.0 V, four single output models of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, and 15 V, and two dual output models of ±12 V and ±15 V.
