While the XK-VOICE-SQ66 can be used in many applications, it has been optimized to support the XMOS XVF3800 four-microphone voice processor. This device offers a high-performance solution for voice conferencing and collaboration designs.

A flexible microphone array on the XK-VOICE-SQ66 can be configured under software control to operate in either a linear or square topology to match target form factors. An extension header is also available to connect user-defined external arrays.

The board supports a USB 2.0 interface for audio, control, and power connections. Alternatively, a 40-pin Raspberry Pi-compatible header can be used to connect to the I2C, SPI, and I2S interfaces of the XVF3800 processor and other peripherals on the board.

An included TI TLV320DAC3101 audio DAC and standard 3.5 mm TRS socket provide a line-out signal to drive an external-powered speaker. Additional audio processing blocks can be programmed in this device to equalize the speaker response if required.

The kit also contains an XTAG4 debug adaptor to simplify firmware development and flash programming, delivering a complete solution for voice conferencing product development.
