Film, Aluminum, and Aluminum Polymer Capacitor Portfolio

Würth Elektronik capacitor portfolio includes film, aluminum, and aluminum polymer versions with capacitance, voltage, and operating temperature options.

Film Capacitors

Film capacitors are available in various types, including general purpose, DC-Link, and interference suppression. The interference suppression capacitors are safety class X2 and available with a voltage range of 275 V_AC to 310 V_AC. One series (WCAP-FTXH) is designed for harsh environments. DC-Link capacitors offer high voltages and very high ripple current capabilities. General purpose film capacitors have operating temperatures of up to +85°C or +105°C. Most Würth Elektronik film capacitors are available with long leads (20 mm) for prototyping needs or short leads (4 mm) for production needs. Part numbers with the 'CS' suffix have short leads; no suffix refers to the long lead versions.

Aluminum Polymer Capacitors

Aluminum polymer capacitors contain solid conductive polymer instead of wet electrolytic, which allows for longer expected life with higher long term stability. Würth Elektronik offers aluminum polymer capacitors in V-Chip SMD, H-Chip SMD, and Radial THT types. They are available with parameter options of extremely low ESR value, high capacitance, long service life, and voltages (V_R) of up to 100 V_DC.

Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Würth Elektronik aluminum electrolytic capacitors are available in V-Chip SMD, Radial THT, and Snap-In versions. The various series within the portfolio offer characteristics of high capacitances and voltages, long life, low impedance, and non-polar versions. The capacitors are available with operating temperatures of +85°C up to +125°C and lifetimes of 1,000 h or extended service life of up to 10,000 h. Würth Elektronik aluminum electrolytic capacitors are offered in high capacitance values (up to 33,000 µF) and higher voltage ranges (up to 450 V_DC).
