Vishay's chip capacitors offer low ESR values with high ripple current carrying capability
Vishay's TR3 series capacitors offer a solid tantalum design with a traditional manganese dioxide cathode that combines the latest design, materials, and manufacturing technology to achieve very low ESR values. The TR3 series low-ESR, solid tantalum, surface-mount chip capacitors help reduce heat generation as well as improve overall circuit efficiency and long-term reliability with the ability to supply higher currents during charge and discharge cycles, improving circuit performance. This series is 100% surge current tested (C, D, and E case sizes) and has high ripple current carrying capacity and qualification to EIA-717 in seven case codes, the TR3 series offers the right performance for a variety of industrial, telecom infrastructure, and consumer applications.
