Image of Vishay's RCV2010 / RCV2512 Series ResistorsVishay's RCV e3 series of thick-film chip resistors are designed to save board space while lowering component counts and placement costs. This series offers operating voltages up to 3 kV in a 2512 case size, 2 kV in a 2010 case size, 500 V in a 1206 case size, and 400 V in a 0805 case size to replace standard resistor chains. With a broad resistance range from 100 KΩ to 100 MΩ, the RCV is available with 1% and 5% combined with 100 ppm/°C and 200 ppm/°C TCR, offering a low-voltage coefficient of resistance (VCR) of 25 ppm/V. The case sizes (2010 and 2512) were introduced for this high-voltage resistor series, offering UL 1676 recognition as per UL file no. E526561 as well as being compliant with the safety standard IEC 62368-1 ed. 3. The extended resistance range goes up to 100 MΩ. The RCV series can handle ESD voltage up to 25 kV.
