Applications range from automotive grade filtering and hold-up to wide environmental range needs such as outdoor power, meters, radars, and sensing electronics for smart infrastructure. Therefore, the HXC is rated at 85°C/85% RH for 2000 hours for high humidity applications. The HXC offers upgraded performance in rms ripple capability and lower ESR. This hybrid capacitor will not short circuit in applications as a purely polymer electrolyte capacitor that is operated over 16 VDC may. This is a highly prized attribute for sensitive or safety related electronic equipment. The HXC series is the latest offering of our hybrid polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitor family development campaign.
