The Tripp Lite by Eaton EVMAGU23X UPDU G4 meets power standards used worldwide, so users can source a single PDU chassis globally and pair it with the cables rated for the voltage requirements at each destination to deploy it worldwide. It has versatile C39 outlets, which allow both C14 and C20 plugs, adding to its flexibility and reducing the quantity of PDUs users need to purchase or install. The universal input rack is available with basic, metered input, and managed models. It accommodates 5 kVA single-phase and 23 kVA three-phase power in 208 V and 415 V/240 V environments, as well as equipment with a variety of connectors and power equipment.

The UPDU fits 42 outlets into a low-profile 42U chassis in a vertical front- or side-facing OU form factor, maximizing available rack space for revenue-generating equipment. It has color-coded outlet banks and corresponding circuit breakers, ensuring balanced loads are as easy as matching colors. The UPDU G4 meets worldwide industry standards, making it compatible with a broad range of IT facilities, both physically and from a regulatory perspective, with 15 detachable input cords that accommodate each country’s electric standards. Installation is simplified with hot-swappable network modules and pre-installed mounting buttons, especially in large-scale projects with hundreds or thousands of PDUs.

The Tripp Lite by Eaton universal PDU can be managed via a web browser or Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) into data center infrastructure management (DCIM). Users can also utilize Eaton Brightlayer Data Centers suite management software or third-party management systems. Remote PDU management reduces or eliminates costly on-site visits and frees up resources for other tasks, especially critical in edge network and distributed IT installations.

With excellent cybersecurity features on the G4 platform, the UPDU will keep users’ data safe. Chain-of-trust encryption and secure firmware boot capability prevent the EVMAGU23X UPDU from being a cyberattack vulnerability point on a network. An embedded, hot-swappable gigabit network module (GNM) offers enhanced management and cybersecurity, including zero-trust architecture and zero-touch provisioning.
