PS305 30 V/5 A DC Power Supply

Triplett's PS305 30 V/5 A DC power supply is a compact and versatile power supply, weighing in at 8.8 lbs. (4 kg) with dimensions of 4" x 6" x 8" (105 mm x 155 mm x 210 mm) (W x H x D). It is not a bulky burden on a benchtop and does not take up too much space on the bench. It is portable and can easily be transported between test stations.

The PS305 offers the most commonly needed output voltage and currents of 30 V/5 A_DC for most applications (power output = 160 W), providing constant voltage and constant current outputs. These quality outputs provide stability and accuracy without drift. The PS305 has an instantaneous response time of <100 µS (50% load change, minimum load 0.5 A). It provides fine and coarse adjustment in both constant voltage and current operation. Readings are displayed on a dual 4-digit bright LED display.

The PS305 features many forms of protection such as reverse polarity protection, short circuit, and overload protection. This allows users to avoid damaging any important projects like PCBs and prototypes. The PS305 is designed with a temperature recovery fuse installed inside the transformer of the product, so when the internal temperature of the transformer exceeds +130°F, the temperature recovery fuse is automatically disconnected, and the transformer is powered off. When the temperature drops below +130°F, the temperature recovery fuse is automatically connected, and the transformer starts to supply power.

The PS305 is also available with a NIST option, meaning it comes with calibration data traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technologies on a calibration certificate.
