Image of Triad Magnetics Split Pack™ Series Power TransformersThe Split Pack series from Triad Magnetics is a single primary and dual secondary, split bobbin design which operates with an input of 115 V. The secondaries are up to 56 V at 0.650 A each. They can be used independently (up to 300 V difference between them) or in series for double the voltage or in parallel for double the current. Their split bobbin winding and low capacitive coupling eliminates the need for electrostatic shielding. Class 2/3 has higher hipot rating, primary-to-secondary dielectric rating is 4,200 VAC and secondary-to-secondary hipot is 2,160 VAC, with high isolation creepage between primary and secondary windings.
