TRV 2M Series 2 W Medical DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power's TRV 2M series 2 W DC/DC converters in a compact SIP-9 package feature reinforced isolation of 5,000 V_AC for medical and industrial applications. This series is designed to protect any connected interfaces or applied parts to patients with 2xMOPP compliance. The TRV 2M series consists of 21 models offering 1.5:1 input ranges of 4.5 V_DC to 7 V_DC, 9.6 V_DC to 14.4 V_DC, 12 V_DC to 18 V_DC, and 19.2 V_DC to 28.8 V_DC with output voltages of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, ±5 V, ±12 V, and ±15 V outputs. These isolated and regulated DC/DC converters provide up to 84% high efficiency with full-load operation over a convection-cooled temperature range of -40°C to +80°C without derating.

These converters are ideal solutions for many applications requiring a medical isolation system and short circuit protection. Additional features include 5,000 V_AC isolation, continuous short circuit protection, and reliability calculated to be greater than 10 million hours (calculated per MIL-HDBK-217F ground benign). All models are safety approved to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition for 2xMOPP and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 and are supported by TRACO Power’s five-year warranty.
