40 V and 50 V Stepper Motor Drivers

Toshiba’s 40 V and 50 V 1.5 A to 3 A stepper motor drivers exhibit low on-resistance, fine micro-stepping, and compact form factor with motor driving enhancement features that are suitable for a wide range of industrial precision controls such as printers, actuators, CNC machines, and many other applications.

The TB67S539FTG/TB67S539SFTG, TB67549FTG, and TB67S569FTG are 40 V 1.5 A to 2 A, the TB67S580FNG, TB67S581FNG, and TB67S589FNG/FTG are 50 V 1.6 A to 3 A stepper motor drivers in QFN24, QFN32, and HTSSOP28 packages. They are all fully integrated drivers, simple to use, and can drive stepper motors cost-effectively.

These devices also support full step for maximum torque, 1/2, 1/4, and 1/32 micro-stepping for precise control. An integrated charge pump eliminates the need for external charge pump capacitors. The TB67S539FTG, TB67S549FTG, and TB67S589FNG feature an advanced current detection system (ACDS) so that current limit set resistors are not required. All mentioned devices are equipped with error detection that alerts external hosts for action during fault conditions.
