Image of Texas Instruments' LMK1C1104 4-Channel Output LVCMOS BufferTexas Instruments’ LMK1C1104 is part of the LMK1C110x family which is a modular, high-performance, low-skew, LVCMOS fan-out buffer solution that offers three fan-out variations including 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4. The buffer is pin-compatible with other devices in the LMK1C110x family and backwards-compatible with the CDCLVC110x devices for easy handling. The LMK1C110x devices share the same high-performing characteristics such as low additive jitter (<50 fs maximum), low skew (<50 ps), low propagation delay (<3 ns), and a wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +125°C).

The LMK1C1104 supports a synchronous output enable control (1G) which switches the outputs into a low state when 1G is low. This buffer has a failsafe input that prevents oscillation at the outputs in the absence of an input signal and allows for input signals before VDD is supplied. The LMK1C1104 operates in a 1.8 V, 2.5 V, and 3.3 V environment and is available in an 8-pin TSSOP or 8-pin WSON package.
