ESD761 Single-Channel ESD Protection Diode
Texas Instruments' bidirectional TVS diode can dissipate ESD strikes that are over the IEC 61000-4-2 maximum level
Texas Instruments' ESD761 is a single-channel, low-capacitance bidirectional ESD protection device that is designed for USB power delivery (USB-PD). The device is rated to dissipate contact ESD strikes of ±22 kV contact and ±22 kV air gap, which is over the maximum level that is specified in the IEC 61000-4-2 international standard.
The low dynamic resistance and low clamping voltage help protect the systems against transient events. This protection is key because industrial systems require a high level of robustness and reliability.

- Contact discharge: ±22 kV and air-gap discharge: ±22 kV
- IEC 61000-4-5 robust surge protection (8/20 µs): 2.8 A or 1.8 A
- Working voltage: 24 V
