TDK’s MHF1608 series noise suppression filters for MF and HF frequency bands use a developed high-loss, highly permeable ferrite material which results in high impedance from 300 kHz to 30 MHz while minimizing and controlling noise. The MHF series is AEC-Q200 compliant and offers a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. These noise suppression components are designed for use in signal lines for electronic control circuits in automotive applications that are often affected by conductive noise, radiation noise, or other impacts. Some examples of these applications include car audio, navigation, and battery monitoring systems (BMS). Typically, a chip bead supporting a high-frequency band from several dozens of MHz to several GHz is inserted to control the noise. Replacing conventional chip beads with the MHF series component will allow manufacturers to reduce the total number of parts used.
