Utilizing AI for rapid development, combined with Taoglas’ revolutionary antenna design techniques and RF engineering experience, the antenna was designed to provide an extremely small integration footprint for a wideband cellular antenna. The antenna covers both cellular and GNSS bands, including the most challenging 600 MHz to 700 MHz bands. The PCS.55.A provides a simple off-the-shelf solution for LTE, CAT-M, NB-IoT, and GNSS applications and is only 27 mm x 10 mm x 1.6 mm.

This compact cellular antenna is the perfect antenna for small IoT devices, where requirements for smaller PCB designs are becoming more dependent on the antenna size. This antenna requires an extremely small keep-out area and needs far fewer matching components than most other compact cellular antennas on the market, resulting in a smaller, less complex design, reducing the bill of materials for the device and helping speed up time-to-market.
