PS-45u Series iShield Camera microSD Card

Swissbit’s PS-45u iShield camera microSD card is a simple and retrofittable security solution, especially for the encryption and access protection of video and photo recordings. It is host-independent, i.e., plug-and-play, and can be used with many camera types. The solution also includes the iShield camera card tool (iCCT) software.

Thanks to the plug-and-play approach, the iShield camera can be easily integrated into existing systems. This allows manufacturers and users of drones, body cameras, or dash cams to add a security feature to their models, specifically preventing unauthorized access to sensitive camera data or ensuring compliance with legal requirements. In addition to AES 256-bit encryption and PIN user authentication, the iShield camera features full HD video support and industrial-grade temperature resistance.

As soon as the camera is switched off or the microSD card is removed, the AES-256-bit-encrypted data content can no longer be read without PIN authentication, not even in the camera itself. Access and further processing are now only possible via the computer, where the card can be unlocked via iCCT. In this way, the unauthorized transfer or manipulation of video recordings is effectively prevented.
