Foot Switches

Suntsu's rugged switches feature an innovative design that is ideal for high-performance applications

Image of Suntsu's Foot SwitchSuntsu's foot switches come in a variety of mounting styles and plunger options to serve applications that need hands-free switching. These switches are commonly used in the professional audio industry for guitar foot pedals and are designed to withstand the most rugged use. Suntsu's proprietary switch design results in a mechanical life of greater than 100,000 cycles and outperforms other models.

Typically used in sewing machines, medical bed controls, tattoo guns, soldering machines, industrial machinery, and the professional audio industry, Suntsu foot switches can be momentary or latching. Momentary foot switches must remain pressed down by the foot to continue functioning. For example, a sewing machine requires continuous compression for the machine to continue its stitches. Latching foot switches can be pressed once, and then the user can remove the pressure on the switch. The device or machine will remain on until the switch is compressed again. Therefore, it is important to consider what the foot switch will be used for before making a purchase.
