STMicroelectronics' MEMs expansion boards for STM32 Nucleo offer a free comprehensive development firmware library

Image of STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1 and X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 Motion MEMS Evaluation Boards STMicroelectronics' X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1 and X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 are motion MEMS and environmental sensor evaluation boards. The X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1 enables development with a variety of motion MEMS and environmental sensors. It consists of a main board that hosts the motion MEMS and environmental sensors and a detachable add-on board that hosts the Qvar swipe electrodes. The X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1 expansion board allows application development with features like sensor HUB (LSM6DSO16IS and LSM6DSV16X), camera module integration and Qvar touch/swipe gestures (thanks to the equipped electrode). There is also the possibility to integrate presence and motion detection with an IR sensor.

  • LIS2MDL: MEMS 3D magnetometer (±50 gauss)
  • LIS2DUXS12: Ultra low-power MEMS 3D accelerometer (±2 g/±4 g/±8 g/±16 g) with Qvar, AI, and anti-aliasing
  • LPS22DF: Low-power and high-precision MEMS pressure sensor, 260 hPa to 1260 hPa absolute digital output barometer
