The modules are fast, with high data throughput, flexible - offering several serial interface options, and small, coming in a micro-sized form factor (10 mm x 13 mm footprint). The SPBT2632C1A/SPBT2632C2A modules represent an easy to use, cost-effective, standalone solution for users requiring a simple wireless link by establishing a wireless bridge between your device and any other Bluetooth-enabled device. The micro-sized Bluetooth Modules come with different types of serial interfaces (fast UART, SPI, I²C). They can be used in applications such as notebook PCs and accessories, PDAs, access points and industrial controls, as well as for portable medical equipment.

(a). All these resources cannot coexist at the same time; they are shared on the 8 pins available for interface. Standard configuration for AT command set is 4 pins for UART and 4 pins for GPIO.
