Image of Stewart Connector's Cat6/Cat6a RJ45 Punch Down Modular Plugs – SS-39300 Series Stewart Connector's RJ45 punch down modular plugs are of a unique design for ease of use as a field terminated connector. No special termination tooling is required: insert a wire into the wire manager load bar, insert that into the connector body, and close to terminate. The plugs are built to be universal modular plug connections for shielded or unshielded cable, accepting cable OD range of 6 mm (0.236") to 8 mm (0.315"), and terminate 23 AWG to 26 AWG solid or stranded cable with an OD insulation up to 1.6 mm (0.063"). Some of the special features of these plugs are that they have compression strain relief to keep the cable and connector tightly terminated, offer 360° of shielding, and are built to handle Power Over Ethernet (PoE) applications.
