BH Series High-Power, High-Insulation Relays

Standex Electronics’ BH series high-voltage and high-insulation reed relays are capable of switching voltage levels from zero to 1,000 V_DC with exceptional accuracy and repeatability. An integrated electrostatic shield and axial switch leads ensure a high insulation resistance of 10 TΩ across the open contacts as well as between the coil and contacts. In addition to the high dielectric strength, the BH series can also provide a high breakdown voltage across the open switch (up to 3 kV or 5 kV upon request). This voltage isolation pairs with a very high insulation resistance which ensures minimal leakage currents in the picoamperes range and fast switching capabilities up to 1 ms. This multi-channel dry-switch design houses up to four Form A switches that can be used to current share across switches or for one relay to control four switches for multiple measurements to be taken at one time. The BH series also features an external magnetic shield that allows the BH series to be assembled in a tight matrix without any magnetic coupling effect.
