Thing Plus Matter – MGM240P
SparkFun's Thing Plus Matter – MGM240P comes ready for use with Silicon Labs' Matter IoT protocol designed with home automation in mind
SparkFun's Thing Plus Matter combines Matter with the Qwiic ecosystem to enable fast prototyping and development of Matter-based IoT devices. Silicon Labs’ MGM240P enables connectivity with Thread and BLE 5.3 protocols. The Thing Plus Matter comes ready for use with Silicon Labs' Matter IoT protocol designed with home automation in mind. Just like the other SparkFun Thing Plus boards, they are feather-compatible with a Qwiic connection to use with solderless I2C circuits.
Matter is an IoT protocol that allows for consistent smart home device and IoT platform communication without internet access, even from different manufacturers. This means Matter is able to communicate with most IoT ecosystems in order to create a wireless protocol that is reliable and secure to use.
