UTSX Series

Featuring reinforced bayonet pins and a broader range of layouts, sizes, and mechanical keyings compared to its predecessor, the UTS series, the UTSX series shares a unique design of contacts that are interchangeable across several of their connector series, allowing users to simplify their supply chain. For series that are intermateable, such as the UTS, UTGX and UTO series, users can easily switch from one series to the other across the applications in their operation. UTSX series connectors are waterproof, lightweight, withstand 250 mating cycles, and are manufactured from materials that have UV and corrosion resistant properties. They are IP68/69K rated even in dynamic conditions and available with multiple contact layouts for design flexibility, including hybrid power/signal and hybrid copper/fiber. The easy-to-grip connectors have a one-third bayonet coupling to confirm the connection with an audible and tactile click. The UTSX series is compliant with IEC and UL standards and resistant to shock, ensuring safe connections for installers and operators. The UTSX series is perfect for outdoor solar and wind management applications, as well as conditions where humidity or corrosive agents would compromise metal components.

UTO Series

Souriau-Sunbank by Eaton's UTO series is a range of circular connectors designed for use in harsh environments or where EMI shielding is desired. The connectors are made of high quality metals and can offer IP67, IP68 & IP69K in mated condition. The metal shells of the UTO are strong and rugged to resist every environmental and mechanical requirement for indoor and outdoor applications. Amongst several characteristics, UTO offers possibilities on shielding, sealing, and salt spray. UTO is available in 8 shell sizes, 27 insert arrangements, and inter-mateable with the UTG, UTP, and UTS connector series*.

UTS Series

UTS series is a range of ruggedized plastic circular connectors designed for use in harsh environments. The system predominantly uses crimp termination but there are also options of Solder-cup, Screw Termination, PCB, and Fiber Optic. The connectors are made of high quality lightweight plastics and IP68/IP69K sealing performance in mated or unmated conditions. The latter applies when ‘Hi-Seal’ solder-cup or O-ring contacts are utilized.

Souriau-Sunbank by Eaton's UTL Series is a plastic connector range that meets UL/IEC and current breaking capacity safety standards. The stainless steel latch coupling system is simple to use with only 1 finger, connectors can be easily mated or unmated. The "Key hole" design of the coupling system and audible click offers blind mating confirmation. This series is ideal for overhead installations or in dark conditions where the mechanical discriminations allow easy mating to avoid connector damage. The UTL Series is rated at IP68/69K even in dynamic conditions and remains sealed when used continuously underwater or cleaned using a high pressure hose while cable is moving. Souriau-Sunbank by Eaton's versatile and easy to use “SMS” Quick Mating panel and cable connectors are a highly cost-effective system approach to solving the constant demand for more interconnection solutions and techniques. A full plastic solution offered in either Wire attachment or PCB mounting options to provide rapid assembly/installation without requiring additional mounting hardware. Panel receptacle connectors simply snap and lock into panel cut-outs and cable plugs quickly connect and disconnect with positive retention locks. Just push to mate then press and release to un-mate. In addition, cable plug connectors also feature pin-protection skirts, positive polarization and are offered with or without integrated strain relief hoods. Cable receptacle connectors (with integrated strain relief hoods) are available to mate with the cable plug connectors for cable-to-cable solutions when needed.

MBG Series

Souriau-Sunbank by Eaton's MBG series cylindrical plastic connector has been designed for use in applications requiring a high number of mating cycles and rapid connections and disconnections. The MBG series II meets minimum durability requirements of 5000 mating/unmating cycles by using a unique contact-wiping system consisting of a lubricant-saturated foam pad, bonded to a spring-loaded stripper plate within the receptacle or plug. Upon mating, the stripper plate is pushed deep into the connector, wiping a thin film of lubricant onto the male contacts. A distinctive shape provides mating ease in blind or difficult to reach applications. Typical applications would include test equipment, medical diagnostic equipment, or any of the hardware interconnections found in the modern electronic office.
