These buffers support a wide range of input formats and output configurations, making them suitable for complex timing architectures in high-speed digital systems.

Each device in the family features a 3:1 input multiplexer capable of accepting LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL, CML, SSTL, HSTL, and single-ended clocks, including crystal oscillator inputs. The output stage includes two independently configurable banks supporting LVPECL, LVDS, and HCSL formats, with selectable output voltages (1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V). Integrated LDOs provide high PSRR, reducing external component requirements and improving performance in noisy environments.

With additive jitter as low as 35 fs RMS (typical) and compliance with PCIe® Gen1 through Gen7 standards, the SKY53510, SKY53580, and SKY53540 series are optimized for applications demanding precise timing and low phase noise. These buffers are available in compact QFN packages with options for 4, 8, or 10 differential outputs.
