OSC8A/OSCA5 Series Ultra-Low Jitter Differential Output Oscillator

Siward OSC8A and OSCA5 are ultra-low jitter differential output oscillators designed to provide stable and accurate clock signals for high-speed applications such as data centers, 100 G/400 G/800 G Ethernet, and optical modules. This device supports ultra-low jitter performance down to 60 fs (156.25 MHz) in the 12 kHz to 20 MHz range, as well as high frequencies between 25 MHz and 200 MHz. The OSC8A and OSCA5 are excellent solutions for compact designs as they support industry-standard footprints of 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm (OSC8A) and 2.0 mm x 1.6 mm (OSCA5).

The OSC8A and OSCA5 models support multiple industry-standard outputs, including HCSL, LVPECL, and LVDS, with voltages of 1.8 V, 2.5 V, and 3.3 V available. They feature excellent frequency stability of ±25/±50 ppm over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C/+105°C. These models’ ultra-low jitter performance makes them ideal for demanding applications requiring signal integrity and system stability, including data center, server, optical module, storage, networking switch, Ethernet, 5G telecommunication, and industrial applications.
