SiT9156 Low-Jitter Ultra-Performance Differential Oscillators

The SiT9156 from SiTime Corporation is a low-jitter, ultra-performance, differential oscillator that offers an excellent 0.3 ps of RMS phase jitter for 10 GbE applications. This differential oscillator covers five frequencies from 156.25 MHz to 161.1328 MHz, as well as up-shifted versions of these frequencies for buffer management (overflow). Unlike quartz- or SAW-based traditional oscillators, the SiT9156 is available in any combination of voltage (2.5 V to 3.3 V), frequency stability (±10 ppm, ±25 ppm, or ±50 ppm), and package (5032, 7050) options.

SiT9156 series oscillators are custom programmed by DigiKey to any combination of frequency, voltage, and pull range with short lead times providing a faster time-to-market. This programmability enables designers to optimize the clock configuration while eliminating the long lead time and customization costs associated with quartz TCXOs where each frequency is custom-built.
