Based on Skyworks Solutions' patented CMOS isolation technology, Si86xx isolators enable robust operation in harsh industrial applications.

  • Supply voltage 2.5 V to 5.5 V
  • -40°C to +125°C temperature range
  • Common mode transient immunity 50 kV/μs

Applications
  • Industrial
    • IEC 60950 (transitioning to IEC 62368) requires 8 mm for higher working voltages
    • IS2 also extends qualification to IEC 62368
  • Medical Applications
    • IEC 60601 requires 8 mm for 250 VRMS for 2 MOPP (two means of patient protection, most stringent requirement) or to use conformal coating
    • IS2 extends use from 125 VRMS to 250 VRMS with no coating
