The IoT small-form-factor applications for 2.4 GHz wireless protocols include Bluetooth LE, Bluetooth mesh, Matter, Thread, and Zigbee. The EFR32xG24 explorer kit features two LEDs and two push buttons, along with a reset button and breakout pads for GPIO access and connection to external hardware. The hardware add-on support helps create and prototype applications using an almost endless combination of off-the-shelf boards from Adafruit, MikroElektronika, Seeed Studios and SparkFun.
