Silicon Labs’ BGM220 modules provide developers with a highly integrated, scalable connectivity solution
Silicon Labs’ BGM220S and BGM220P modules support Bluetooth direction finding and deliver up to a ten-year battery life on a single coin cell. At just 6 mm x 6 mm, the BGM220S provides an ultra-compact, low-cost, long battery life SiP module that adds turnkey Bluetooth connectivity to extremely small products. To compliment it, the BGM220P is a slightly larger variant optimized for wireless performance and offers a better link budget for greater range.
The family of Bluetooth SiP and PCB modules delivers the right combination of security features, processing power, wireless performance, and software to meet the market demand for high-volume, battery-powered IoT products. Based on Silicon Labs’ secure, ultra-low-power wireless Gecko series 2 platform, BGM220 modules provide developers with a highly integrated, scalable connectivity solution supporting the Bluetooth 5.2 specification, Bluetooth mesh 1.0, angle-of-arrival (AoA), and angle-of-departure (AoD).
