SLG46537 GreenPAK with Asynchronous State Machine

Renesas' SLG46537 family provides a low powered, small component for commonly used mixed-signal functions. The designer creates their circuit design by programming the one time non-volatile memory (NVM) to configure the interconnect logic, the I/O pins, and the macro cells of the SLG46537. The devices are designed to implement many system functions, such as system reset, power sequencing, and voltage monitoring, with minimal space and power. This family was designed to make adding new features to highly integrated systems relatively easy with integrated, programmable analog and digital components, such as look-up tables, D-flip flops, counters, delays, analog comparators, and more.

Included in these devices are the asynchronous state machine (ASM) and I²C blocks. With the addition of the ASM, designers can implement up to eight unique states with zero code, zero static power, and fail-safe operation. GreenPAK I²C enables designers to change device configuration, such as analog comparator thresholds, quickly and allows designers to act as a GPIO expander, writing digital signals to component inputs.
