SCALANCE XR-100WG/XR-300WG Network Switches/Ports

Siemens SCALANCE XR-100WG and XR-300WG (workgroup) switches expand the portfolio of SCALANCE X-19" rack switches. The devices, which are suitable for industry-related applications and control rooms, are available with different port versions and data rates (24 ports or 28 ports). Siemens offers both unmanaged (SCALANCE XR-100WG) and managed (SCALANCE XR-300WG) switch versions. The XR-300WG switches support the same functionalities as the SCALANCE XB-200 product line and are considered a cost-optimized alternative with reduced features (e.g., VLAN count, variants with UL approval) to today's fully modular SCALANCE XR-300 Ethernet switch family.

Individual variants with four combo ports are offered for implementing optical uplink connections. Besides the different port versions, the individual products also differ in their power supply. Depending on the use case, switches with redundant 24 V_DC voltage infeed or switches with 100 V_AC to 240 V_AC power supply can be integrated into 19” control cabinets (cold switch connection).
