Image of Sensata-Airpax PGFM Series GFCI Ground Fault Protection Sensing ModulesThe Sensata-Airpax LineGard™ PGFM GFCI sensing module is a ground fault sensing device that operates in tandem with an approved Airpax LEL series, UL 489 listed circuit breaker. The PGFM provides identification of a ground fault versus short circuit trip and features a chemical and UV resistant enclosure. It is available in models to operate at supply voltages of 120 VAC or 240 VAC and can monitor single and split phase circuits.

The combined assembly of the PGFM and LEL circuit breaker meets the requirements of ABYC E-11 for ground fault protection and main shore power circuit protection. The PGFM constantly monitors the current balance of the conductors supplying power to the load. When a ground fault of 27 mA nominal (30 mA max) occurs, the PGFM uses the LEL’s shunt trip coil to signal the breaker to trip.

These devices meet the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR1926.404 (b)(1)(ii) and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.405 (a)(2)(ii)(G).
