EL Series Solid-State Relays

Sensata Crydom's EL series of solid-state relays (SSR) offer exceptional performance and provide a cost-effective, panel-mount solution as often compared to standard electromechanical relays. This extension of EL series DC SSRs enhances the benefits of this versatility by innovatively packaging great power density within a compact, low profile 21 mm x 35 mm body. This slim design presents itself as an excellent solution where cabinet depth has become limited. These industry accepted panel mount relays are available in 5 A, 10 A, and now 20 A versions at a maximum operating voltage of between 3 V_DC to 100 V_DC.

The innovative and ready-to-use design of the EL series SSR includes a pre-installed thermal pad that extends mechanical life by way of protection against overheating. With this long-term, maintenance friendly feature, heat can be easily transferred away from the component and common instances of long-term grease degradation, along with its mess, can be avoided on precision equipment. The EL series also features quick connect terminals to improve the efficiency of installation processes by being a cleaner, faster, safer, and more consistent connection method. A 90° bent terminal variation also presents an ideal option for applications with limited vertical space.
