770069 Power Relay

SCS' power relay controls power to workbenches, hand tools, and other electronic devices dependent on the WS aware monitor’s status

Image of SCS' Power RelayThe SCS 770069 power relay is designed to work in conjunction with the WS aware dual-wire constant monitor to control power to an ESD workbench and the electronic devices within the ESD workspace. The power relay will power the electronic devices when an operator connects to the WS aware monitor and no faults are reported. If the monitor indicates a fail condition all power to the workstation will be turned off. This will prevent the operator from working when there is either a bad ground connection, body voltage, and/or EMI.

The SCS 770069 power relay is compatible with the SCS 770067 and 770068 WS aware dual-wire constant monitors.

Features
  • Relay controlled power strip with four outlets (two normally off, one normally on, one always on)
    • Controls power to workbenches, hand tools, and other electronic devices dependent on the WS aware monitors status
  • 3 kV optical isolation, relay hysteresis, and de-bounce protection
    • Eliminates shock hazard, prevents relay chatter, and extends contact life
  • 3600 W metal oxide varistor (MOV)
    • Clamps surges for clean 90 VAC to 140 VAC power
  • Compatible with the following items:
    • 770067 WS aware monitor
    • 770068 WS aware monitor
  • 12 A thermal circuit breaker
    • Prevents overloads for added safety
  • 90 VAC to 120 VAC input rating with North American power cord
    • Works with standard electrical systems in North America
