Samtec’s high-speed cable assemblies breaks the constraints of traditional signaling substrate and hardware offerings, resulting in a cost-effective, high-performance and heat efficient solution to the challenges of today’s applications.
Samtec’s high-speed cable assemblies use Samtec’s Eye Speed® micro coax and twinax for excellent signal integrity performance with individual copper serve or braid shielding. Assemblies include future-proof, high-density array, integral ground plane, hermaphroditic and rugged Edge Rate® systems. Rugged features and options available include strain relief, plastic housings, screw downs, latches, locks and more.

AcceleRate® Micro Cable Assemblies
AcceleRate® is the industry’s slimmest cable system with direct attach technology and ultra-low skew twinax cable for 56 Gbps PAM4 speeds. It features an extremely slim 7.6 mm width and Eye Speed® ultra-low skew twinax cable with direct attach to the contacts. This eliminates the need and variability of a transition card for improved signal integrity.

Edge Rate® High-Speed Coax and Twinax Cable Assemblies
Samtec’s Edge Rate® coax and twinax cable assemblies offer a 50 Ω single-ended and 100 Ω differential pair signaling routing. ERCD/ERDP offers a 34 AWG coax cable and 30 AWG twinax cable in a 0.80 mm pitch. These assemblies are compatible with the ERF8 and ERM8 connectors. They use Samtec’s Eye Speed® cable to provide a 14 Gbps performance and features a double row system to 120 pins and a metal latching system.

The HLCD cable series is a high-speed hermaphroditic cable assembly designed to mate with LSHM shielded board-mounting connectors. It features Razor Beam™ contacts for high-speed, high-reliability and fine-pitch systems. HLCD uses Eye Speed® micro coax cable to support performance up to 14 Gbps.

HQCD/HQDP offers a 38 AWG coax cable and 30 AWG twinax cable in a 0.50 mm pitch. These assemblies feature an integral ground/power plane. They use Samtec’s Eye Speed® cable to provide a 14 Gbps performance and features a double row system to 120 pins and a metal latching system.
