The series combines a revised electrode structure with an optimized device design that improves heat dissipation to the PCB where the resistor is mounted. This high-heat dissipation structure also provides reliability and space savings with a 39% smaller mounting area than conventional 4 W rated products. ROHM Semiconductor GMR50 resistors offer a resistance range of 5 mΩ to 220 mΩ and an operating temperature range of -65°C to +170°C. These devices are ideal for current detection in motors and power supply circuits used in automotive systems and industrial equipment.
