Designed with a common-source configuration, this device integrates two MOSFETs that share a source terminal, thereby enabling efficient bidirectional circuit protection in a single component. This significantly reduces board space compared to conventional power delivery circuits that require two discrete MOSFETs, making the AW2K21 ideal for USB fast-charging and other high-current portable applications. The AW2K21 can also function as a standard single MOSFET by adjusting pin connections while still maintaining superior performance. Its ultra-low ON-resistance not only supports miniaturization, but also contributes to improved energy efficiency, offering performance that even surpasses equivalent GaN HEMTs in similar-sized classes.
