Richtek RT9490/92 battery chargers are available in two package sizes for versatility in applications
Richtek buck-boost switching battery charger series, the RT9490/92 is a highly integrated 5 A buck-boost switch mode battery charge and system power path management device for two-to-four-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries.
The low-impedance power path optimizes switch-mode operation efficiency, reduces battery charging time, and extends battery life during the discharging phase. It offers high SoC accuracy and features a fast role swap function to ensure seamless data and power transmission. The I²C serial interface with charging and system settings makes the device a truly flexible solution.
The RT9490 is available in a WL-CSP2.93x3.46-56(BSC) package and the RT9492 is available in a VQFN4x4-29T(FC) package.
