Richtek EVB_RT9527GQW evaluation board showcases the functionality of the RT9527GQW, a fully integrated, cost-effective single-cell Li-ion battery charger designed for small portable applications.
The RT9527GQW optimizes charging through a control algorithm that includes pre-charge, fast-charge, and constant voltage modes, with adjustable charging current via an external resistor (10 mA to 600 mA). It supports up to 28 VIN and includes undervoltage and overvoltage protection for the AC adapter, as well as internal thermal feedback to regulate die temperature for optimal charge rates across varying ambient conditions.
The evaluation board is designed to facilitate the demonstration, evaluation, and application development of the RT9527GQW.
