Most transmission lines carry high voltages over extremely long distances, with infrastructure located in remote areas. A reliable low-voltage power source for monitoring devices is always a challenge for engineers. RESI is focusing on this energy harvesting solution (also called power harvest or power collection).

The RESI PATR series is an ideal low-voltage power source for power line monitor devices and sensors. It is a combination of a split-core CT and an AC/DC power module. It is fully isolated, sustainable, and maintenance-free.

Different from solar power, CT plus modules are much more sustainable and reliable in different weather conditions. The devices are very robust, anti-corrosive, and very low noise. Waterproof and dust-proof ability reaches IP68 level. With its easy mounting, it can be live installed in the field.
