RA6T3 Arm® Cortex®-M33 MCU for Motor Control

Renesas' RA6T3 is built on a highly efficient 40 nm process and equipped with various peripherals and memory suitable for low-mid range motor control applications. To make engineers’ application design easy, RA6T3 is supported by the Flexible Software Package (FSP), including motor control specific control code algorithm. The RA6T3 group is the third motor control ASSP in the RA6 series and provides an easy migration path for the RA4T1 with pin and function compatibility. It is based on the 200 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 core and is the first RA motor control device to add support for the USB FS interface. These enhanced high-performance, low-price motor control products provide an ideal lineup for customers developing motor control applications who want to differentiate their products in a very cost-competitive market.

The small 32-pin package lineup reduces both size and cost for applications. In addition, Renesas FSP provides customers with an easy-to-use development environment. Customers can reduce the development resource and time by using FSP’s small memory footprint HAL drivers and peripheral drivers with software scalability with the rest of the RA family. The evaluation kit and sample software, proven in existing products such as the RA6T2, are provided to ensure a smooth migration to other RA products.
