Image of Renesas RA2L2 Group 48MHz Arm® Cortex®-M23 Microcontrollers The RA2L2 group from Renesas is a family of entry-level microcontrollers built on the 48 MHz Arm Cortex-M23 core, offering a compelling blend of performance, power efficiency, and peripheral integration. Designed for space-constrained and battery-powered applications, these MCUs deliver ultra-low power consumption while supporting a wide operating voltage range from 1.6 V to 5.5 V.

With up to 128 KB of code Flash and 16 KB of SRAM, the RA2L2 MCUs are ideal for applications requiring moderate memory and high integration. They feature a USB full-speed interface that operates without an external crystal, along with a USB Type-C® interface, making them suitable for modern connectivity needs. The RA2L2 also supports a wide array of serial communication protocols, including I³C, CAN, SSI, and low-power UART.

The RA2L2 is pin- and peripheral-compatible with other RA2 series devices, simplifying design reuse and scalability across product lines.
