RPX-1.0/RPX-1.5 Series Buck Switching Regulators

RECOM's RPX-1.0 and RPX-1.5 series are buck converters in a tiny 3 mm x 5 mm x 1.6 mm QFN package that has been thermally enhanced using flip-chip technology. These modules are unique in that they include an integrated shielded inductor for lower EMI. The inputs range from 4 V_DC to 36 V_DC, each converter provides 1 A or 1.5 A of output current, respectively, and the output voltage can be trimmed within the ranges of 0.8 V_DC up to 30 V_DC using an external resistor. They have SCP, OCP, OTP, and ULVO protection, as well as enable, power good, soft start, and sync function capabilities. The series is an excellent, cost-effective option for IIoT, industrial controls, medical and imaging equipment, and high-density power systems applications.

Each series also has a compatible evaluation board for quick and convenient functional design testing, including control, power good, train, output sense, and overload or overtemperature behaviors. The boards contain the filter components needed to meet EMC class B levels.
